The extension of the energy networks in Germany and elsewhere would certainly not be urgent if we had greater capacity to store the current. Focused on saving energy, storage and expansion of renewable energies the extension of power lines network even is said to be superfluous (2-15 Natur + Umwelt, BN-Magazine, p.11) in Germany’s famous association to the protection of nature, Bund Naturschutz.
